Die Angelusglocke rief seit dem Spätmittelalter die Menschen zum Gebet. Noch heute läutet vielerorts die Angelusglocke nach der Betglocke am Abend, so auch in Herrenberg. Diese klar und voluminös klingende Glocke wurde 1962 von dem bedeutenden Gießer Friedrich Wilhelm Schilling in Heidelberg gegossen.
